BC Accounting Services is now doing business as BCPA Services — it's a trade name (South Carolina doesn't require DBA registration, so there's no filing involved), which means the firm itself isn't changing, just the name on the door. The new name matches what the firm has actually become: a dedicated monthly partner for small businesses. It is still the same firm, the same CPA (me, Blaire Campbell), and the same standard of care.
Small businesses, on a monthly service model. If you are a business owner, this change was built for you.
Monthly bookkeeping, quarterly tax planning, year-end tax returns (for non–Schedule C clients), and ad-hoc tax questions throughout the year. One package, one monthly fee, no surprises. Monthly packages start at $325 per month.
No — not right now. Current bookkeeping clients are grandfathered in: your pricing stays locked for now, and we will likely reevaluate pricing next year. You will hear from me in advance of any change, because that is how this works here.
For new business clients, we prepare individual (1040) returns and charge them separately from the monthly service fee.
"Bookkeeping + Tax for Small Business." Warm, thorough, plain-English communication — I will always tell you what you need to know, and why it matters, in one place.
Yes, for work outside the monthly plan: $65/hour for our staff accountant up to $190/hour for CPA-level work. Pricing is reviewed annually, and changes are communicated in advance.
Me (Blaire Campbell, CPA), plus Nathan, our staff accountant and bookkeeper.
Fill out the free estimate form on the Get Started page and tell me about your business. We'll have a discovery call so I can understand your books, your pain points, and what you actually need — then I'll recommend the right plan. No pressure, no sales pitch; if we're not the right fit, I'll tell you.
Our plans start with a 6-month minimum — we spend a lot of time up front getting your books cleaned up and learning your business, so it takes that long to show you what this actually looks like. After that, it's month-to-month, and you can cancel with 1 month's notice.
Yes. Most of our work happens remotely anyway — your books live in the cloud, and so do we. If you're a small business owner anywhere, we can work together.
A once-a-year CPA meets your numbers in April, when it's too late to change anything. I live in your books every month, so we catch problems while they're small, plan taxes while there's still time to act, and you get real answers when you ask questions — because we're already in your numbers. Tax preparation is something we do; tax planning is what you're actually paying for.
QuickBooks. I'm a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, so if your books are a mess in another system (or in a shoebox), we'll get you moved over and cleaned up.
We look at your year-to-date numbers, project where you'll land at year-end, check whether your estimated payments are on track, and identify moves to make before December 31 — equipment purchases, retirement contributions, timing income and deductions. You leave knowing exactly where you stand instead of guessing until April.
